    The Trapmate Kiwi+ (Plus) extends the battery lifetime and improves on the durability of the original Kiwi animal trap remote monitoring device.  It's an all-in-one battery-powered device that combines two sensor mechanisms, a magnetic reed switch and an accelerometer, to detect when animals are in your traps, with virtually no false positives or negatives. The Kiwi+ offers a 3 to 5 year battery life for each set of three (3) AA batteries. The batteries are more easily replaceable than they were with the original Kiwi. In addition, the Kiwi+ features an improved and more rugged case design to protect the Kiwi+ from harsh conditions. The Kiwi includes a protective sleeve, and we recommend purchasing a pull magnet kit to fully utilize its reed-switch capabilities. The Kiwi Sleeve Bundle ships with a protective sleeve and a pull magnet kit to provide multiple methods for activating the reed switch. The Kiwi combines two sensor mechanisms -- a magnetic reed switch and an accelerometer -- with cellular communications, the Kiwi provides alerts directly to the Trapmate software on your phone or desktop when an animal is in your trap. The Kiwi's dual-sensor architecture and adjustable sensitivity settings make the device virtually foolproof, eliminating the false or missed alerts that other ERM systems struggle with. The Kiwi operates on 3 AAA lithium batteries and will operate up to two years on a single set, after which they are easily replaceable.     The Trapmate Dual Vibration/Magnet Sensor (DVMS) is a cost-effective, easy-to-deploy solution for detecting when a rodent or other animal is trapped. The device combines two different sensors -- a magnet-activated (reed switch) sensor and a variable-sensitivity accelerometer. Depending on the traps and stations you use, you can choose to use either or both of the sensors to monitor for trap activity. The Dual Vibration/Magnet Sensor sends alerts to your Trapmate apps via the Trapmate Hub, which can be as far away as 1,000 feet (line of sight) from each sensor. The DVMS is lightweight, durable, and runs for five years on a set of off-the-shelf batteries. The standard configuration uses an external antenna for greater signal reception; if you're interested in an internal antenna version, please contact [email protected] to discuss pricing and availability.

    Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Sensor (5-pack)

    The Trapmate Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Sensor is designed for monitoring multi-catch traps. It uses an infrared sensor to detect temperature changes its field of view, establishing the presence of rodents in the trap. Upon detecting motion, the sensor sends alerts to the Trapmate apps and portal via the Trapmate Hub, The PIR Motion Sensor is typically deployed outside of a multi-catch or other metal trap facing in, and has an external antenna to maximize signal range. The sensor is lightweight, durable, and runs for five years on a set of off-the-shelf batteries. For easier connections to many multi-catch traps, Trapmate offers the PIR Motion Sensor Adapter, which mounts on the side of any common multi-catch trap to fix the PIR Motion Sensor into place. This adapter is sold separately.
