The Trapmate Kiwi+ (Plus) extends the battery lifetime and improves on the durability of the original Kiwi animal trap remote monitoring device. It's an all-in-one battery-powered device that combines two sensor mechanisms, a magnetic reed switch and an accelerometer, to detect when animals are in your traps, with virtually no false positives or negatives.
The Kiwi+ offers a 3 to 5 year battery life for each set of three (3) AA batteries. The batteries are more easily replaceable than they were with the original Kiwi. In addition, the Kiwi+ features an improved and more rugged case design to protect the Kiwi+ from harsh conditions. The Kiwi includes a protective sleeve, and we recommend purchasing a
pull magnet kit to fully utilize its reed-switch capabilities.
