Setting Up the Device

Your device comes right out of the box ready to go with the push of a button. When deploying your Skyhawk Sensor:

  1. Make sure the Hub/Gateway is deployed and operating first.
  2. Verify your sensor can connect to the hub by powering it on and checking the app.

The location of your sensor in respect to the hub is important for ensuring reliable and efficient operation.

  2. Make sure there are minimal to no obstructions between the sensor and the hub.
  3. Have the antenna facing up and away from the ground as much as possible.
  4. Avoid placing the devices close to metallic objects as best as possible.
